There’s pretty much something for everybody at StageAbility. We’re a platform for those who want to get involved in the theatre. Either as a young child or an adult, we provide moments each week which centre on performance.
Our Senior and Adult platforms culminate in actual public performances of plays and musicals and our Junior platform introduces young people to the fun drama can bring. At all levels, participating in drama helps to develop self confidence whilst at the same time providing a great hobby alongside other like minded people.
Our creative team are all about getting creative and putting on a show. Our shows are rock solid musicals or plays which offer the greatest challenge to our performers. We employ industry professionals with a proven artistic track record and we stage shows using professional musicians, designers and directors.
Our weekly sessions with young people open up the world of drama by introducing them to the three main performance mediums. Drama, Dance and song. We focus mainly on the drama element and use music and movement to enhance the whole experience.
Our 25 year association with the Multi Award Winning Essex Group also provides far reaching opportunities for those who want to participate in full scale musical productions the likes of which have included shows like OLIVER!, The King & I, Joseph, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Annie.
We are also fortunate to be associate with the Annual Witham Pantomime where our actors are given the opportunity to auction and participate in this lavish annual event.
