Drama teaching in primary schools Berkshire, Hampshire, Wokingham

Primary Schools

What can StageAbility bring to your school?

Our team works with local nurseries and primary schools in a variety of different ways.  One of these is delivering curricular lessons during the school day.  We believe that when drama is used to deliver the national curriculum, it reaches some of the more difficult to reach children.  Information is well retained because it is learned in a more hands-on way – as well as being lots of fun for the whole school!  Whether it’s for Spoken Language, PSHE or Topics, the class are on their feet actively engaging with the subject in hand, whatever that may be!

StageAbility also delivers breakfast, lunch time and after-school drama clubs.  These clubs can be ‘parent pay’ clubs or funded by the school – whatever works for you.  All of our drama teachers have enhanced DBS checks and have safeguarding training.  StageAbility’s booking system is GDPR compliant and makes the booking process and communication process seamless for parents and the school office team.

Offered across Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham.

Drama Clubs for Schools

“We did not have an after school drama club so this was perfect for us. All staff are DBS checked and have undertaken safeguarding training. Jackie and her staff are very accommodating and have been really easy to work with. The children love attending the after school club and this has further enhanced our after-school provision.”
Mortimer St. John’s CofE Infant School

* Wellbeing * Connection * Communication * Building Confidence & Self Belief *

“Just wanted to let you know that all the children has such a fantastic time at the Summer school. Some of the quieter members of the Year group really improved in self-confidence and were more able to join in towards the end of the week. The members of staff you sent were great and built up a good rapport with the children.”
