Mad 4 Musicals:
StageAbility’s Mad 4 Musicals class is open to all children aged 7-14 who love to sing and dance. There is no audition to join. At this age, we feel that it’s important to share the love of musical theatre and encourage the students to develop their singing, dancing and acting skills. The class will present their work to parents at the end of each term and at the end of the summer term there is a chance to perform at StageAbility’s school show A Touch of Class. These classes take place in Mortimer.
What parents say about StageAbility’s musical theatre classes
My daughter has been attending Musical Theatre and the holiday workshops at Stageability for some years now. It has helped my daughter massively with her confidence and she really enjoys each and every class. The Musical Theatre teachers and the Principal are wonderful with the children and have really helped push my daughter out of her comfort zone and she now loves being on the stage. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the class if you are considering it for your child.
Our daughter has thrived at StageAbility’s Musical Theatre class. Top quality teachers with real musical theatre performing experience have inspired, enthused and encouraged her to become a confident performer. She loves Stageability and has given up and turned down other club opportunities on Tuesday evenings as she wouldn’t give up their musical theatre class for anything!

Musical Theatre Masterclass: Invitation Only (Ages 12+)
Entry to StageAbility’s coveted Musical Theatre Masterclass course (MTM) is ‘by invitation only’ and is for students who are keen to polish their musical theatre skills. The course runs from March to July every year with around 15 students in Earley. Across the course, they will learn group songs, group dances and perform acted scenes. They are also given a chance to audition for a solo or duet in the end of term Graduation Show. There is no denying that this course is hard work, but equally, the students gain so much from it and we see a leap in their confidence and ability after taking part.
